Bandipur: One of the most beautiful towns. Bandipur is famous for Newari people, their cultures, natural beauty, unique history and hiking. This place is between Kathmandu and Pokhara lies the hilltop settlement, altitude of 1030 meter, 150 km to the west of Kathmandu and 80 km to the east of Pokhara. Bandipur was originally inhabited by the Magars until the Newars from Bhaktapur settled during the early 19th century. The Newars developed the place as a stop on India-Tibet trade route. Bandipur offers a spectacular view of Annapurna Range along with Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Lang tang.
