XEGAR: Xegar (4300 meters) is also called Shekar Dzong or New Tingri, is a town at the base of Mount Everest (Mount Qomolangma) on the Tibetan side. This small town is the starting point for many climbing expeditions to the highest peaks in the world. This place is surrounding by the chain of Himalayan ranges demonstrating the town as a major tourist destination in Tibet.
