DAY 01: KATHMANDU
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. A representative from our office will greet you at the airport and transfer to the Hotel. Briefing on your tour itinerary. Afternoon walking tour and exploration of traditional local market “Ason” in old Kathmandu city. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02: KATHMANDU
Morning sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath. Afternoon Patan Durbar Square and Golden Temple. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03: KATHMANDU
Morning sightseeing of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Afternoon Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04: KATHMANDU – PARO – THIMPU (65 KM – 1 hr)
Morning fly (1.5 hrs) to Paro then drive to Thimphu. After Lunch visit Tashichho Dzong (Fortress), the main secretariat building. This massive structure houses the King’s office, Throne Room. Then explore local market. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 05: THIMPU
Morning sightseeing, you will discover the beauty of Thimphu and its treasures epitomized in the historic and massive structures such as the largest Buddha Statue at Buddha point, Memorial Chorten (Stupa), the 12th century, National Postal Museum, Handicraft emporium. After Lunch drive up to the BBS tower view point and enjoy the stunning view of the entire Thimphu town. On the drive back, stop at the mini takin zoo (Takin is the national animal of Bhutan). Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 06: THIMPU – PUNAKHA (77 KM – 3 hrs)
Morning drive to Punakha. On the way, stop at Dochula pass (3100 m) to view the most beautiful view of the entire Eastern Himalayan Mountain ranges. Besides, you will also get to see the 108 Miniature Stupas at Dochula Pass. On the way visit Chimi Lhakhang then Lunch. On reaching Punakha visit the Punakha Dzong. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 07: PUNAKHA – PARO (142 KM – 4 hrs)
Morning drive back to Paro. After Lunch sightseeing of National Museum (Ta-Dzong), Rinpung Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang, In the evening stroll around Paro Town. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08: PARO – EXCURSION TO TAKSHANG
Morning visit to (hike about 4 – 5 hrs) Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). After Lunch visit Drugyal Dzong. In the evening stroll around Paro Town. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 09: PARO – KATHMANDU
Morning fly (1.5 hrs) back to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon free. Evening Farewell Nepalese dinner with culture dance. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 10: KATHMANDU
Departure transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
